Class Features

Armoured Casting Training (Ex):
If a battlecaster has the fighter special ability of armour training, the battlecaster may reduce the arcane spell failure chance of the armour he is wearing by 5% for each level of armour training. The spell failure chance of armour may be reduced this way only to a maximum of five times battlecaster level in percent. This feature stacks with the Arcane Armour Training and Arcane Armour Mastery feats.
Chanted Strike (Su):
A battlecaster can sacrifice one of his spells per day as a swift action to grant himself an insight bonus on all attack rolls (excluding combat maneuver rolls) equal to the level of the spell consumed until the end of his turn. Consuming cantrips in this way has no effect. If a battlecaster prepares his spells he must choose which spell he is sacrificing.
Diverse Training:
A battlecaster adds his battlecaster level to any levels of fighter he might have for the purpose of meeting the prerequisites for feats, and for armour training and weapon training. If a battlecaster already has gained barbarian damage reduction, then he may add his battlecaster levels to his levels of barbarian for the purposes of gaining more damage reduction. He also adds half his battlecaster level to any levels in an arcane spellcasting class for the purpose of meeting the prerequisites for feats.
Spell Combat:
At 2nd level, the battlecaster gains the Spell Combat feat even if he does not yet meets the prerequisites.
Spell Shield (Su):
At 2nd level, a battlecaster can sacrifice one of his spells per day as an immediate action to grant himself a shield bonus to AC equal to the level of the spell consumed until the end of his next turn. Consuming cantrips in this way has no effect. If a battlecaster prepares his spells he must choose which spell he is sacrificing.
Dispelling Strike (Su):
At 3rd level, a battlecaster can sacrifice one of his spells per day as a swift action to imbue his weapon with a special aura. If the weapon strikes a creature within the next minute, that creature is the subject of a targeted dispel magic using the battlecaster’s caster level as the caster level, except that this effect cannot dispel a spell of a level higher than that sacrificed spell (treat higher-level spells as if they do not exist and apply the dispel attempt to the remaining spells with the highest caster level). Once the strike is made, the aura dissipates, even if the dispel attempt is unsuccessful. If a battlecaster prepares his spells he must choose which spell he is sacrificing.
Bonus Feat:
At 4th level, a battlecaster may choose a bonus combat feat, metamagic feat, item creation feat, or Spell Mastery. This is in addition to the feats that a character of any class normally gets from advancing levels.
The character must still meet any prerequisites for these bonus feats.
Chanted Maneuver (Su):
At 4th level, a battlecaster can sacrifice one of his spells per day as an immediate action to grant himself an insight bonus on all combat maneuver rolls equal to the level of the spell consumed until the end of his turn. Consuming cantrips in this way has no effect. If a battlecaster prepares his spells he must choose which spell he is sacrificing.
Arcane Power:
At 5th level a battlecaster gains an additional school power or bloodline power, if the existing arcane class is wizard or sorceror, respectively.
Improved Spell Combat:
At 5th level, the battlecaster gains the Improved Spell Combat feat even if he does not yet meets the prerequisites.
